Bali Lawal is the epitome of a businesswoman. With her and her business partners' love for fashion, art, and music plus their desire to bring quality projects into production, prompted the birth of A CODED WORLD.
An effervescent Afro-Italian beauty, Bali Lawal has fashion pumping through her veins. She arrived in the fashion capital Milan, Italy in her mid-teens to a voyage of enchantment and allure. When she started her modelling career, Bali was, on occasion, the only black girl in the queue, but she has persevered and excelled in this difficult industry. With her striking features, smooth mahogany skin and toned long legs, her first fashion show was for the top edgy brand Diesel. She has then gone on to work for some of the fashion industry’s elite across Europe, USA, and Africa. It has been a difficult, yet exciting journey, but Bali has opted to embrace the beauty of every experience. She consistently reiterates to herself, “I must always have a strong and positive attitude in what I believe in.”
A calm composure and easy rapport with sponsors, artists, designers, models, and colleagues lends to Bali’s ability to lead, manage and oversee the complete operation of the organization. Bali and her partners are committed to successfully bring A CODED WORLD's core values to international prominence. Diversity, unity, and equality are the focal points of this platform, permitting designers and other international creative talents to work cohesively in expressing the beauty of their arts through A CODED WORLD. Previous shows have highlighted talent from Italy, Paris, USA, China, Russia, Scotland, Columbia, Philippines, Senegal, and Ghana.
With A CODED WORLD, Ms. Bali Lawal has now cemented her status as a top model, entrepreneur and valued activist.
From The CATWALK to The BOARDROOM Caribbean born Portia Chérie hails from the beautiful tropical island of Saint Lucia, the timid tomboy who secretly tittered in her mum's shoes soon became an international model who has worked for renowned fashion houses globally. During her castings and job bookings Portia was usually the token model of color but she did not allow fashion's blind spot to break her vivacious spirit or deter her from her career.
A business major at college but a shopaholic at heart Portia views her retail addiction as her way of helping the economy;) but her vast wardrobe became both a lifesaver and money saver for all her model friends who needed a stylist for their photo shoots and VIP events. The voguish expat utilized all her experiences to create an impressive repertoire. Merging her strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and true admiration for the arts Portia along with her partners created A CODED WORLD.

Her mission is to become the game changing Afro Caribbean editor-in-chief establishing an ethnically diverse "fashion bible." She envisions a cultural melting pot of fashion's crème de la crème "it girls" gracing the glossy pages of her editorial wonderland. Miss Chérie's motto is "If you knock on doors, and no one opens, build you own door to success."
The Cuban talent that is Alma Ramos Sorzano, possesses a large number of experience in the diverse occupations she has upheld.
In order to take her education along with her love for the Arts (acting, dancing and modeling) in a more international direction Alma moved to Italy where she has lived and worked since the year 2000. She quickly established herself as an actress and model and has been working non-stop in film, television and print publications with some of Italy's and Switzerland's top brands. Alma also acquired knowledge of the business world by being an interpreter of commercials intended for national and international television market consumption.
With her multi-faceted approach to fashion and business, Alma became an accomplished saleswoman, with over 10 years of experience in sales and as general manager in some of Milano's most exclusive showrooms.
But her passion for art, events, people and education led Alma to A CODED WORLD, bringing her gifts of organization, attention to detail and management has made her able to aggressively accumulate information on each project to achieve quality events tailored to A CODED WORLD diverse clienteles' needs.
Valeria Chen, Taiwanese visual specialist. Discovered her love in fashion through the diversity in visual aspects. She’s fascinated about creativity and original ideas behind the design process in art, music, dancing, film and illustration all over the world.
Holding a master degree of Fashion Communication Styling and Fashion Marketing, she found the way to code the communication strategy beyond culture and languages building recognizable, unique, outstanding images for clients and found the best identity placement in todays rapidly changing fashion market.The solid styling background and technical skills beside researches allow her to express the ideas precisely and interprete the abstract objects into images.
The passion of chasing new friendly equally beautiful fashion mixture over ethic and the generous love of human brings her into ACODED WORLD. With her experiences of life in international environment across the emerging Asian fashion capital Taipei Taiwan and historical European fashion city Milan.She accomplished the multicultural and cross generations tasks bringing young talents and refreshing ideas of styling into ACODED WORLD.
With a Master degree in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering gained at University of Nebraska - USA /Politecnico di Milano – Italy, Kwaku Ampofo has accomplished challenging business targets in his four years professional experience at CEVA (one of the top five Logistics and Supply chain worldwide operators) working first in the Engineering department and later becoming an important player in the Business Development Team.
The endless research for challenging targets, the past experience as TV host and the fine taste for arts, fashion and music have led Kwaku to embrace the A CODED WORLD project with body and soul.
He provides leadership, strategic direction for all financial and operational functions, directly oversees budgeting, accounting, and human resources. Kwaku Ampofo possesses a wealth of experience which enables him to continually bring added value to A CODED WORLD.
